Credit Unions Future Committee
We are a voluntary association of Community-Based Credit Unions (CBCUs) dedicated to finding new ways of cooperating to better serve our members.
Though our world is facing unprecedented change and challenge, we are firmly convinced that we have a vital role to play in making our communities resilient and vibrant.
We formed the Credit Unions Future Committee (CFC) in 2021 to support the continued viability of CBCUs through practical collaboration and collective advocacy.

Cornerstones of the
CFC’s efforts
In the summer of 2021, the CFC asked CBCUs what their most significant “pain points” were. Based on their answers, the CFC established its first three working groups on Payments, Digital Banking, and Central 1 Governance. Each group focuses on a specific topic and is made up of our volunteer members.
